The “Best Paper Awards–2026” Graduate Student Research Conference, an annual academic event organized by the Mongolian Young Scientists' Association, was successfully held on 26 June 2026. The conference brings together master’s and doctoral students from universities across Mongolia to present their research papers and deliver oral presentations in English.

The primary objective of the conference is to encourage graduate students to write and publish their research findings in English—the international language of science—and to strengthen their academic presentation skills in English. This year’s conference was organized by the Division of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Mongolian Young Scientists' Association.
For the final round of the competition, the organizing committee invited subject specialists to evaluate the seven shortlisted presentations according to their respective fields of expertise. The judging panel consisted of:
Dr. E. Sarantuya, Head of the Academic Training Center, Graduate School, Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences;
Dr. E. Saruul, Head of the Biotechnology Center, Institute of Biology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences; and
Associate Professor Dr. G. Mungunshagai, School of Energy Engineering, Mongolian University of Science and Technology.
Following conference tradition, one outstanding presenter from each of the master’s and doctoral categories was selected and awarded a research grant.
* In the Master’s Category, B. Jaraakhai, a master’s student in the Division of Natural Sciences, School of Arts and Sciences, National University of Mongolia, received the Best Paper Award for the presentation entitled “Development of an Immunodiagnostic Assay for the Detection of Glycophorin A Proteins in Sheep and Camels”
